SEND

What to do if you think your child has additional needs.

Lots of children find learning tricky at some point in their school life. The school staff, like you, want to find ways to support them through this. For some children, a little support to get them over the first hurdle will be enough to get them back on track. Other children need longer term support. This might already be available in school or the school might draw on support from other agencies.

If you are worried, please talk to us as soon as possible. Here is a guide to help you through.

On this page you will find links to various websites and services that may be helpful if your child has additional needs. If you are worried about your child's health or progress please contact the office to make an appointment to see the class teacher or Mrs Sexton, the SENCo. Please note, we have a separate section of the website dedicated to mental health in the news and events section.
