Internet Safety
Online Safety
Helping your child stay safe online
At Wallop Primary School, we aspire for our pupils to become life-long learners and valuable members of a global society. The internet and associated technology play a key role in this and therefore, we want all of our pupils to be equipped with the knowledge to make the most of technology and recognise the benefits that it can bring, while maintaining high levels of safety and security.
We recognise that the online world is an inevitable part of young peoples’ lives in modern society and we understand that monitoring children’s online activity can be a dauting and sometimes overwhelming task for parents and carers.
Please use the links below to find a range of advice, support and resources from a range of nationally recognised organisations – from ideas for how to start conversations about online safety, to information about age classification and what to do if you have concerns.
If you need any further support, please speak to your child’s class teacher or a member of the school’s safeguarding team.
