Our new topic this term is called Land Adventures.
What a busy first full week we have had!
We began exploring a range of skills in English, including using expanded noun phrases to describe the crayons from ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’, as well as exploring the past and present tense. While in Maths, we have been comparing numbers to 100 and 1000 using greater than and less than signs. We have also been ordering numbers from 0-100 and 0-1000, from smallest to largest and largest to smallest. In PE, we practiced our putting skills in tri-golf. While in computing, we learnt about what IT stands for and devices that are information technology, we also discussed their role in our day to day life. In Art, we spent time exploring a range of artists who collect items and turn them into pieces of art. One artist collected feathers, another collected broken stones. We really enjoyed our time in the Wellbeing Wood this week, we created dens to protect us from the rain.
